The Victory Church

The Victory Church has opened its doors to Southaven, Mississippi.

Since the beginning of 2010 we have been able to gather and establish a strong core group of around 70 believers. The majority of our newcomers have heard about our church through a postcard stating "Look What’s Popping...The Victory Church is popping up & You are invited!" Our team delivered these cards along with a bag of popcorn to 6,000 doorsteps. Since then, we have established ministries to meet the needs of the people in the Sunday morning services, as well as opened several Wednesday night Life Groups in homes for discipleship and fellowship.

September 2010 Major Church Launch

September is a transition month from Summer time to Harvest time, and we are ready for the Harvest. We began our major church launch this September from a position of strength. Our major outreach thrust being "We have an App for that!"

God has shown us that the people all around us are hurting and need the Truth of God’s Word and real love from genuine friendship. Our church is mobilizing to tell our cities that there is a Real God and a Real Church there for them.

Speaking of hurting people, today’s teenagers are so lost and so unloved. Pastor Greg oversees outreach efforts in our area high schools. We are in these schools weekly ministering hope and love to the young people. We also have Gravity, a monthly Saturday night service designed just for them. It is a service that is intentional at making an unsaved teenager feel welcomed and wanted. Things like rappers and dj’s help them to see that Jesus Christ is for them not just their grandparents.

Without The Victory Church who would be caring for the people God has sent us? Would they still be lost and in bondage? Thank the Lord for Victory! We are seeing marriages restored, prodigals come home, trust in ministers and the church being rebuilt in peoples hearts, deliverance and healing from the past, physical healings and salvations!
